Using a 1936 Linotype machine and vintage printing press. Participants will each contribute to the design of a Festival and print their own copy to take home. Each participant will have the opportunity to handset one line of large wooden or metal type that will be added to the poster. Choose your phrase, pick a font, and set your line by hand. Once assembled, you will be able to print your own copy on the Baltimore Museum of Industry’s proof press.

A legendary Old Time musician, Riley is a renowned banjo player and vocalist from North Carolina. His singing stems from a backdrop in church singing in the Blue Ridge and rural folk songs, fiddle tunes and ballads. All levels welcome.
